Gujarat State Education Board has taken an important decision. Gujarat Board has announced the exam schedule for class 10 and class 12. According to which the class 10 and 12 board exam will be conducted from March 11 to March 26, 2024. This exam will be conducted as per the new education policy. The SSCE exam will be held between 11 March 2024 to 22 March 2024.
The timing of class 10 exam will be from 10 am to 1.15 pm. It is now 4 months for students preparing for class 10 and 12. It is worth mentioning that announcing the program from now on will make it easier for students to prepare the outline of the exam.

Supplementary examination of three subjects will be conducted instead of the supplementary examination of two subjects for students who have passed in class 10. Supplementary examination of two subjects will be conducted instead of one subject supplementary examination for students who have passed in class-12 general stream.
In the Class 10 and Class 12 general stream board exams, the percentage of objective questions will be 30 percent instead of 20 percent and descriptive questions will be increased to 70 percent instead of 80 percent.
It was also decided in this meeting to keep 50 percent MCQs in the board exam of Class-12 science stream and to give general option in all questions instead of internal option in 50 percent descriptive questions. The timing of class 12 exam will be from 3 pm to 6.15 pm. The first paper of Class 12 Commerce will be Fundamentals of Nama. The first paper of class 12 science will be physics.
